Well done to those of you who are regularly sharing your novels with me. You are really extending your learning and are all doing a fantastic job. 

Can someone please message Blake and remind him about updating on kid blog. 

There will be a special treat for everyone who has worked on their novel these holidays. I am checking kid blog every couple of days - still waiting to see something a bit different.

Holiday homework

 - decide on a speech topic and do research

- write your speech and have it completed by Wednesday 27 July

- work on your novel regularly

- post on kidblog (try something different - create a holiday slide, make a google form for the rest of us to fill in, share parts of your novel)

- collect as many news articles as possible about the Rio Olympics (especially the controversial ones about pollution, the Zika virus, athletes pulling out)
